Greetings!
A friend reached out to me recently, asking about my book. He has a son he thinks could use a little boost, so my friend wanted to buy him an autographed copy with an inscription on the inside cover. I told my friend that you don’t just give a kid a book and tell them to read it–you help them work it all out together! He could be part of his son’s Commitment Team. He could also be there when it comes time for an Accountability Appointment to check on his son’s progress toward those goals.
“Ultimately,” I said, “when he talks about the book, you’ll have a firm understanding of what the lessons are. In essence, you would be making the Bold journey together.”
He was sold on that idea. And what parent wouldn’t be? The notion of boosting a kid’s chances for success and taking that journey with them… as a father, that would be a dream come true for me!
